Modelling wave dispersion in fluid saturating periodic scaffolds

Acoustic waves in a slightly compressible fluid saturating porous periodic structure are studied using two complementary approaches: 1) the homogenization (PH) method provides effective model equations for general dynamic problem imposed bounded medium, 2) harmonic acoustic an infinite medium Floquet-Bloch (FB) wave decomposition. In contrast with usual simplifications, advection phenomenon of Navier–Stokes is accounted for. For this, approximation applied to linearize term. The Stokes drift, which asserts that fluid particles are pushed forward by a wave, is proved using a new method.
